Are there any legitimate online jobs on the Internet? Where can I find some?

I already have a day job but money is still tight and it wouldn't hurt if there was some extra cash coming in. So I decided that I would use my free time and take up an online job,you know, paid online survey, data managements, essay writing etc because I literally don't have time for a real 2nd job. But its kind off obvious that there are a lot of scumbags out there scamming people under the title of 'Legitimate online Jobs' and thus it makes it difficult to tell the difference between real online jobs and scams. I obviously can't just Google 'legitimate online jobs" without getting fake ones most of the time. So I was just wondering if anyone in the Yahoo Answers community knew of any actual, legitimate, well paying online jobs which you can do from home with your own computer. But 1 thing I must emphasize is that what I'm asking for is a part-time online job (because I have other responsibilities also!) and also please don't to direct me to 'middleman' websites that demand some small fees or payment in return for finding me said jobs! (Why would I pay to be employed? That only applies to real agents in the real world) Are there any such websites? How good are they? Would you recommend I do this in the first place? Are there any legitimate online jobs on the Internet? Where can I find some?
To answer your question... Yes, there are a lot of companies that offer online employment. If you're good a typing then I would recommend finding a job with a transcription company like Accutran Global, Quick Tate or Scribie. You can also take on Freelance jobs on site like Odesk or Elance. Are there any legitimate online jobs on the Internet? Where can I find some?
Not really. All those Data-entry jobs are BS. Why would someone hire somebody unknown to do unsupervised work that computer software already can do. Moreover, even if those jobs existed, how much would you expect to be paid considering that hiring people overseas is much much cheaper.

It's just a scam. The only legit jobs would be if you open an online store, or a company that offers services online. Are there any legitimate online jobs on the Internet? Where can I find some?
Yes there are websites that offers freelance jobs. eg: freelancer.com, elance.com, guru.com etc.

I'm sure you are already aware of the scam artists. So don't fall for one. Most of them saying "get paid for reading email" etc are frauds or they give you "really" small amounts (like 5ps/email and its not just reading email, it includes registering account in new websites etc).
