Portal/Portal 2 Storyline?

i am a little confused about the story line here is what i have so far



Caroline is Chell's Mother and assistant to cave Johnson Caroline have birth to Chell then johnson died and Caroline took over they took Chell away and raised her in aperture science, they put Caroline memories and personality into a computer and called her GLaDOS then GLaDOS lost Caroline's Memories and killed almost every scientist then ratman put Chell as the next test subject to be tested then portal happens you defeat GLaDOS and are at the surface then ratman drags you back into aperture then portal 2 wheatly wakes you up and so on GLaDOS gets turned into a potato and recovers Caroline's Memories (i don't get why she cant remember her daughter) then you defeat Wheatly GLaDOS says that she deletes Caroline but actually transports her memories to the turrets that's why the turrets are about to kill you but don't because its your mother and then she uses the turrets to sing to you, you then come up to a unpopulated earth and the end



is there anything i got wrong there? could Someone Clarify this please?Portal/Portal 2 Storyline?
Well you pretty much got it, although the whole Chell is Caroline's daughter thing is disputed.

One thing: A robot brings you back to aperture. Oh and even if you are Caroline's daughter, glades deletes the Caroline section of her memory. She dosent kill you because she's so sick of trying, now all she wants is you gone. And she may even respect you a bit for helping get rid of Wheatley.Portal/Portal 2 Storyline?
To be honest I didn't understand anything about Portal, I didn't even know there was a story going on in Portal to be fair, I thought it was just an extra game on the Orange Box, then when I got Portal 2 I noticed the storyline but still I didn't understand what was going on, except that the robot guy that helped you at the begining was built to be an idiot that would control Apature Science as did the guy who got that disease from the moon rock in the earlier versions of Apature Science nearish the end of Portal 2.



But that's all I figured out, I didn't understand what Glados was talking about when she was remembering how she knew Caroline... :P
