How do I decide which college to attend when I don't know what to do with my life?

I already went to one university where I majored in Computer Science, but I didn't feel that the major was right for me and I hated the school I was attending because it was such a party school so I dropped out. I'm currently in community college and I have a 4.0 GPA. I want to apply to a four-year university for the fall semester, but I have absolutely no idea what I want to major in.

I'm interested in sociology but I've heard it's not a good major for getting a job after college. Criminology also sounds interesting, as well as forensic science. Computer science was interesting but I wouldn't know what job I would want within that field. I'm also getting really interested in films. I really don't know what direction to go in.

you should take like a career aptitude test. Lame idea, I know, but it could steer you in the direction of a potential job and could at least tell you what you'd be well suited for.How do I decide which college to attend when I don't know what to do with my life?
First it's important to decide what you want to do. Sociology isn't good because like you said there aren't many jobs. Forensic science could be good so find a college that has a good program for thatHow do I decide which college to attend when I don't know what to do with my life?
Make a list of your like and dislikes...get an understanding of what you know off the top of your head. If there is a guidance counsellor available to you, reach out for help.

If not, take a look at bls.gov to learn where new jobs are being creates and see if any sound good to you. Once you have a few ideas, contact a Free Education Advocate at 877-543-2655 and see if they can recommend 2-3 schools for you to speak with. They can help you walk through the decision
Academically it is time to make a decision. If you can not, then think about taking a year off to work.
