Did you try go to hp website and looking maybe they have software for your printer and for windows 7 first before you posted this question on yahoo answers. I guess you haven't consider you did not put in your question. Anyway if you have and you forgot to put in this question and I guessing it did not work. Try this trick http://www.ehow.com/how_4472207_program-鈥?/a> YES I KNOW THEY ARE SPEAKING ABOUT VISTA. But guess what it work with all version of Windows family. However if you got a Windows 7 Home Premiere would not work on some Windows XP or older verison software. There are some choice to solve that problem one is to upgrade your OS to Windows 7 Ulitmate version. If you dont want spend that kinda of money and you have try everything else then you got buy a new printer. How do i get a old printer working with a new computer?
Don't use the installer CD, just download the drivers from HP's website

http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/support-drivers鈥?/a>

Go to here and enter F300 in the search and search for your printer.

The F300 printer is a generic range name for your printer you need to find out exactly what model number it is, mainly on the top they'll refer to it as it's generic number but underneath you'll probably find that the two 00's on the end are a different number like F325 or F370

This determines what exactly is in that printer and that's what you'll need to get it fully working.

If you can't find out what the two numbers are meant to be try downloading the software for the F325 and installing the printer with that. It should work fine, it's just if there is additional features such as memory card readers and stuff on it they might not work until you find out the exact model number.

I have done a search on the above website for you and they do have Windows 7 drivers for both 64 and 32-bit Windows for that printer.

Also one other thing to try is just plug the printer in, with Windows 7 the majority of devices are automatically detected and as long as Windows has a connection with the internet it goes off and finds the appropriate driver itself. How do i get a old printer working with a new computer?
Go on line to the HP web site and try to find updated drivers for W7.
