What is the best PC to run Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator?

My company does not support Mac and I need to get a computer that is dedicated to these 3 programs. A desktop is more suited for my needs, so I have no interest in laptops. What are the best options available? What is the best PC to run Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator?
There is no such thing is the best PC, its up to your budget towards how much you are willing to spend either on a branded desktop PC or a custom built version.

The custom built version is cheaper and you can customise it to your hearts' content, whereas the branded version will cost more if you change the option onto it as there is generally a higher mark up in price.

To run Adobe Creative Suite or the individual products, you will need at least a Quad Core processor either a Sandy Bridge LGA1155 with the i5 or i7 series; or a Xeon process like the previous poster mentioned but these chipsets are very very expensive and are only designed for the business commercial market based upon the specific memory (RAM) requirements for a Xeon chipset that relies upon ECC memory rather than the consumer range with DDR2 or DDR3.

Those that run Xeon system tend to have either a box or rack mount configuration and used for file storage or to run server related applications. that require a tremendous amount of processing power.

The only other option would be go with the new Intel release of the LGA2011 6-core chipset that replaces the aging i7-990x LGA1366 extreme 6-core processor. If you are on a tight budget then just using the Sandy Bridge to get you by; rather than buying an AMD Bulldozer 8-core chipset which a second generation I-core Sandy bridge chipset will beat for sure in just about every single aspect you can think of.

Because Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator use large files and especially muti-tasking in between applications whether you're going to use Contribute or Bridge mode; you will subsequently need a very fast hard drive. I am not referring to the 7200RPM drives such as the Blue or Black series from Western Digital or the Seagate or Samsung variants.

I am referring to the VelociRaptors that operate at 10,000RPM+ as well as the Solid State Drives.

Adobe applications especially from CS 3 onwards take a while to load; having a high performance hard drive especially when configured to run your operating system as well as these applications will lessen the amount of time in which it loads.

I use Photoshop, InDesign and Corel Draw on a regular basis and on a work computer it takes about 70 seconds to load the Windows XP operating system and another 25 to 40 seconds to load Photoshop CS5 with similar loading times with other Adobe products. The current PC configuration of a computer at work uses RAID 0 with two drives forming one partition with an old Dual Core E2200 series. It is slow as buggery.

I have a 120GB Strontium Matrix at home with the same sort of applications and it takes approximately 12 to 20 seconds to load up the Windows 7 Ultimate boot log-in screen. It takes about 10 to 15 seconds to load Photoshop CS5.

So if you are having to work with large AI or PSD/TIFF files; having a VelociRaptor or a SSD makes a heck of a lot of difference. But in terms of price and what you get in terms of capacity; is not as good as a VelociRaptor where you get more for your purchase; but won't be able to compete with straight performance from a SSD.What is the best PC to run Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator?
That doesn't matter anyway. The reason a Mac is so good with editing is not OS X. The real honest to goodness reason is they use the Intel Core i7 or Multicore Xeon processors that support Hyperthreading, which can be found in PC and Macs.
