Im 16 and i want to get my license?

Im 16 and i want to get my license im going to use the Parent taught program, so this is what i understand so far: First i must pass the virtual part on the computer once i complete a portion of this or the entire thing, I can go and get my learners permit. After i receive my learners permit i must complete the parent taught in car part. After i complete this will i receive my provisional or is there some sort of a wait? Is this all correct? Thanks!
